About Claira
Having birthed all five of my children at home, I understand birth to be a non-medical event that flows in full strength when undisturbed. I have studied with leading mentors in the sovereign birth movement, Yolande Norris Clark and Emilee Saldaya, in the dynamic Matribirth Mentor Institute.
I am an artist of illustration and ceramics with a focus in the Art of Mothering. We homeschool our children and enjoy learning alongside them. Spending time with my husband and our big family is one of my greatest joys. I am an Orthodox Christian.
